THE MOTIVE BEHIND YOUR PRAYERS MATTERS
The motives behind your prayer matters, the reason behind asking God for something matters, you can ask and still not receive if the motive behind your asking is not in alignment with Him

3 And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.
We need to pray in line with the desires of God and not for our own pleasure. This is one of the reasons people pray for there enemies to die rather than asking God to change them.
What did the Bible tell us about our enemies?
Matthew 5:44-45 New Living Translation (NLT)
44 But I say, love your enemies![a] Pray for those who persecute you! 45 In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.
We must change our motives of praying and let the Love of God in us reflect.
